Grateful for Breath is a new collaborative work by poet and filmmaker Liz Zetlin and singer songwriter david sereda. It’s a moving response to the themes of Facing It now at the Tom Thomson Art Gallery. Originally screened on zoom on January 6, 2022. You are invited to experience the works below.
Over the past year, as we rode the waves of the pandemic, Zetlin and sereda responded to the work in Facing It – the themes of social isolation, the power of kinship, and the ways in which art faces and embraces the unknown. Grateful for Breath features Zetlin and sereda performing together and alone as they explore the meaning of “together” and “alone.”
